- Expertise:
- Continuously updating their knowledge of the latest technologies, tools, and best practices to provide the most effective solutions.
- A broad knowledge of Cloud and virtualization, networking, customer support, security and vendor management.
- Collaboration and communication:
- Working closely with development, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems and applications.
- Communicating with other support engineers to manage workloads, share knowledge, and ensure consistent and high-quality support across the team.
- Innovation and improvement:
- Identifying and implementing improvements to support processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proactively suggesting and developing new tools, scripts, or methods to automate repetitive tasks and improve system performance.
- Gathering and analyzing feedback from customers and internal teams to identify areas for improvement in products and services and working with development teams to implement these enhancements.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in a service or system engineering role.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluent in NL/FR/UK
