Challenge
This client’s idea: a mobile application that allows coffee lovers to locate the nearest coffee shop and then order a coffee there. Then the user gets a notification when their order is ready, so they don’t have to wait in line.
Solution
We provided a solution that both coffee orderers and coffee shop owners were sweet with. The result was a cross-platform mobile app in which users could find the nearest shop, scroll through the menu and immediately place their order as well. They then receive a push notification when their order is ready for pickup.
Our client’s customers – store owners – can easily manage their location, menu and opening hours themselves through the MVC.NET that we host on Azure. We also host the backend of the app on Microsoft Azure. Win-win!
On this app it is possible to manage several multi-tenants, allowing multiple customers to use the same infrastructure at the same time. The app is supported on both Android and iOS. Also, both the app and the web app are multilingual, so that customers of different nationalities are optimally served.
Demonstration
For elaboration, we provided detailed interactive mock-ups so the client could confirm that the app fully met their expectations. Using Azure saved a lot of time and allowed us to get the app to market quickly.
