A strong WiFi network is more than just a good signal. Factors such as interference, channel planning and capacity requirements determine whether your network is performing optimally. This is analyzed in a WiFi Site Survey.
We collect data from your network and visualize it with a heatmap. For existing environments, we identify problems such as interference and channel assignment. For new installations, we ensure proper placement of access points for maximum speed and stability.
Step 1: Kick-off meeting
We map out your requirements, such as type of devices, security, number of devices and applications used.
Step 2: Physical meeting
Using tools such as Ekahau, a spectrum analyzer and app-on-a-stick, we measure obstacles, sources of interference and signal gain.
Step 3: Design phase
We place the access points in strategic locations, taking into account capacity, obstacles and failures. The result is a design report for a successful implementation.
Step 4: Post survey
After implementation, we perform a validation measurement to check if the actual situation meets the goals from the design report.
