Who are you in our On IT story?
As Business Developer IT, you play a key role in the further growth of our organization. You detect commercial opportunities, build lasting customer relationships and know how to position complex IT solutions clearly and convincingly. You work autonomously, goal-oriented and feel comfortable in discussions with both business and technical stakeholders.
Your responsibilities
Business development & market development
- Detect and develop new commercial opportunities
- Actively approach prospects and follow up on leads made
- Exploring new markets and sectors
Sales & relationship management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and partners
- Advise customers on IT solutions around:
- Network & Security
- Identity Management
- WiFi and wired networks
- Additional IT services and infrastructure
Collaboration & internal alignment
- Collaborate with technical pre-sales for content support
- Coordinate with internal teams on customer needs and solutions
- Ensure smooth transfer of files to delivery
Commercial strategy & follow-up
- Provide input around commercial promotions and partnerships
- Participate in go-to-market initiatives
- Follow up on trajectories from initial contact to contract completion
Qualifications
Education & experience
- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales within IT solutions or services
- Familiar with environments around networking, security and infrastructure
Commercial skills
- Passion for new business and market development
- Be able to work independently and manage commercial processes from A to Z
- Strong senior level communication and persuasion skills
Customer contact and relationship management
- Willing to visit clients all over Flanders, with occasional Wallonia visits
- Customer-oriented and able to build lasting relationships
Languages
- Dutch: excellent
- English: good
- French: knowledge is a plus
