Are you an experienced WinDev developer who wants to make a difference? In this independent role, you\u2019ll work on the development, optimization, and future-oriented expansion of a business-critical software solution. You\u2019ll combine the maintenance of existing applications with innovative projects and contribute to the further digitization of the sector. <\/p>

Responsibilities<\/h2>

Maintenance and Optimization <\/strong><\/p>

  • Manage and maintain an extensive existing codebase.<\/li>
  • Optimizing existing procedures and application performance.<\/li>
  • Identifying and removing outdated features and code.<\/li>
  • Solving complex technical problems <\/li>
  • Documenting developments, changes, and technical solutions.<\/li><\/ul>

    <\/p>

    Software development and expansion<\/strong><\/p>

    • Developing, modifying, and expanding existing applications in WinDev<\/strong>.<\/li>
    • Designing and building new features based on customer needs.<\/li>
    • Developing new modules to support the continued growth of the software platform.<\/li>
    • Conducting technical analyses and translating functional requirements into efficient solutions.<\/li>
    • Writing high-quality, maintainable, and high-performance code.<\/li><\/ul>

      <\/p>

      Legislation, Compliance, and Digitalization<\/strong><\/p>

      • Implementing software updates in response to changes in legislation.<\/li>
      • Ensure timely implementation within the required legal deadlines.<\/li>
      • Integrating new security, digitization, and compliance requirements.<\/li>
      • Actively contributing to further digitization<\/li><\/ul>

        <\/p>

        Innovation and forward-looking projects<\/strong><\/p>

        • Contribute ideas on the future development of the software platform.<\/li>
        • Contribute to the preparation of a future migration to a web application.<\/li>
        • Exploring technical improvements and modernization options.<\/li>
        • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify new opportunities and drive innovation.<\/li><\/ul>

          Qualifications:<\/h2>

          Education and experience<\/strong><\/p>

          • You have a bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree in IT, software development, or equivalent experience.<\/li>
          • You have proven experience in software development.<\/li>
          • Experience with WinDev<\/strong> is an absolute must<\/li>
          • Experience in web application<\/strong> development is a significant asset, particularly with a view to future modernization projects.<\/li><\/ul>

            <\/p>

            Technical knowledge<\/strong><\/p>

            • Excellent knowledge of Windev<\/li>
            • Knowledge of databases and software architecture.<\/li>
            • Understanding of software maintenance, debugging, and performance optimization.<\/li>
            • An affinity for web technologies and modern application development is a plus.<\/li>
            • Good knowledge of French, as the programming code and technical documentation are largely written in French.<\/li><\/ul>
